Do you enjoy singing carols at Christmas?
Have you ever wanted to sing the lovely harmonies that the choirs sing?
The Solent Male Voice Choir would like to offer you the opportunity to learn those lovely harmonies to carols such as Once In Royal David's City and Ding, Dong, Merrily on High.
Starting at 7.30pm on Tuesday October 15th, in The Pallant Centre, Havant, the ten week course will teach you to sing the harmony parts to several popular carols or Christmas songs alongside the members of the SMVC.
Each session will be betwen 7.30 and 8.30pm. The second half of the practice will be exclusively from SMVC members.
After ten weeks you will be part of our annual Christmas concert, singing as part of the full choir, which will be held in St Faith's Church, Havant on Thursday 19th December.
There is no charge for the course but you will be expected to attend at least seven of the ten practices and MUST be available for the practice on Tuesday 17th December, as well as a pre-concert practice at 6.00pm on 19th December.
SMVC meet every Tuesday at 7.30pm in
The Pallant Centre, Havant, PO9 1BE
There is plenty of parking in the adjacent East Pallant car park. It is all on one level, no steps or stairs.
Don't worry we are not expecting you to be able to read music and there will be no audition. If you are unsure if you are Tenor or Bass our MD might get you to sing a few scales (privately) to see where you fit in.
